[44] On the close watch sabbath in the vicinity the whole conurbation gathered to crash into the word of the Noble. [45] For instance the Jews saw the crowds, they were extensive with enmity and with impressive abuse contradicted what Paul understood. [46] Both Paul and Barnabas kid out bravely and understood, "It was necessary that the word of God be expressed to you rather, but back you dislike it and condemn yourselves as worthless of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles. [47] For so the Noble has commanded us, 'I maintain completed you a light to the Gentiles, that you may be an apparatus of emancipation to the ends of the earth.'"
(CCC 2640) St. Luke in his gospel consistently expresses wonder and veneration at the marvels of Christ and in his Acts of the Apostles stresses them as accomplishments of the Devout Spirit: the community of Jerusalem, the indefensible healed by Peter and John, the fill that gives public to God for that, and the pagans of Pisidia who "were wonderful and puffed up the word of God" (Acts 2:47; 3:9; 4:21; 13:48). (CCC 163) Count on makes us drink in advance the light of the virtuous resourcefulness, the intention of our beginning indoors below. As well as we shall see God "summit to summit", "as he is" (1 Cor 13:12; 1 Jn 3:2). So look-in is by the beginning of eternal life: For instance we mull over the blessings of look-in even now, as if gazing at a inspiration in a mirror, it is as if we by overexcited the great things which our look-in assures us we shall one day relish (St. Parsley, De Spiritu Sancto, 15, 36: PG 32, 132; cf. St. Thomas Aquinas, STh II-II, 4, 1).
