Here we will lay out what you can generally expect to find on this site.
BEFORE WE GO ANY, FURTHER, A NOTE ON TERMS. As we also mentioned in the About page, the title of this site is admittedly a bit limited, but you can rest assured that the content will not be. The term "How To Be A Wizard" was ultimately the most fitting term from the available domain names when this site was created. However, that term in no way means that we have a gender-specific approach. This site is just as appropriate and applicable for the lady who seeks to learn how to be a witch!
This site is lovingly crafted and appropriate for anyone who feels compelled to learn how to better harness their innate powers and energies in harmony with Nature and the natural laws. While there may be a good deal of you who identify as pagan or wiccan, you do not necessarily have to identify as such to enjoy the material here. All students of Life and those who know that magick is real are welcome here.
Within the beautiful diversity of life on this planet, certain constants emerge when one studies varying spiritual traditions. This is especially so of those traditions that never became tied up in the political plottings of nations. We find common themes such as:
-A deep reverence of and love for the Earth
-The interplay of microcosm and macrocosm (the seasons of the year relating to seasons in human lives, malleable human personae and life roles)
-The balance and blend of genders (goddess, god, and those "blessed by two spirits")
-The alchemy that is produced by the union of "opposites"
-The relationship between human will and the precise laws of nature.
Among others, we find these mysteries beautiful, awe-inspiring, and worthy of consideration and appropriation into a well-lived life. We are indeed here to share and live the mystery.
While mainstream culture, for many reasons to protect its own agenda, will scoff at and ridicule some of the words and notions discussed herein, we know better.
We do not seek to wage war or perpetuate a hostile vibration with those that would do so. We may look on with compassion or at least pity for their ignorancebut we still choose to consciously harness the innate energies bestowed upon us. This site is primarily about awakening human potentials, and remembering what many aspects of modern culture has tried to force us to forget.
No matter your belief systems or how you ended up here if your intention is positive and you seek to learn more of the mysteries, to get more out of life and thus in return give more, this site will prove to be a growing collection of useful tools and resources.
This all of course presented through the lens of what's generally called the pagan traditions. We'll detail the sabbats celebrated in the wiccan Wheel of the Year. We'll offer the Wiccan Rede and discuss the book of shadows and how to make a wizard's wand. We'll also discuss the personal transformation in articles such as how to become a wizard.
The first recommended article to get you started is the introductory How To Be A Wizard.
It is our sincere hope that you will find this site enriching to your path.
