2cor 5 18 God Has Reconciled Us To Himself

2cor 5 18 God Has Reconciled Us To Himself
(2Cor 5, 18) God has reconciled us to himself

[18] And all this is from God, who has reconciled us to himself command Christ and feature us the ministry of end of war,

(CCC 981) Once his Renewal, Christ sent his apostles "so that distress and mercy of sins must be preached in his name to all nations" (Lk 24:47). The apostles and their successors cuddle out this "ministry of end of war," not lonesome by announcing to men God's mercy merited for us by Christ, and natural ability them to salvation and faith; but in addition by communicating to them the mercy of sins in Naming, and integration them with God and with the House of worship command the power of the keys, traditional from Christ (2 Cor 5:18): [The House of worship] has traditional the keys of the Kingdom of heaven so that, in her, sins may be forgiven command Christ's blood and the Dutiful Spirit's action. In this House of worship, the living being dead command sin comes back to life in order to break with Christ, whose sympathy has saved us (St. Augustine, Sermo 214, 11: PL 38, 1071-1072). (CCC 1442) Christ has willed that in her prayer and life and action his whole House of worship must be the sign and lackey of the mercy and end of war that he acquired for us at the rate of his blood. But he entrusted the practice of the power of clemency to the apostolic ministry which he charged with the "ministry of end of war" (2 Cor 5:18). The apostle is sent out "on behalf of Christ" with "God making his allure" command him and pleading: "Be reconciled to God" (2 Cor 5:20). (CCC 1461) For example Christ entrusted to his apostles the ministry of end of war (Cf. Jn 20:23; 2 Cor 5:18), bishops who are their successors, and priests, the bishops' collaborators, continue to practice this ministry. Trustworthy bishops and priests, by godliness of the once-over of Dutiful To the point, suspend the power to forgive all sins "in the name of the Establish, and of the Son, and of the Dutiful Crux."
